 •Who is Kgadi?
Kgadi is a beautiful young lady who loves Love, Life, fashion and music. A bubbly, adorable being who loves being around people and has a thirst for knowledge.

•Where does she come from?
My roots are in Lebowakgomo, Limpopo but I was born in Soweto  and raised in the East Rand.

•What’s her fondest childhood memory?
My fondest memory was my mom waking up very early every Monday to take me to my grandparents and coming to fetch me Friday night after work, those were the first few years of my life. The love I was surrounded with made this process effortless as I hardly noticed these moves.
Oh and seeing photos of me and my younger siblings taking baths together when we were younger is still funny to this day, the innocence of a child..  classic.

 Her work.

•Where and what did you study?
I studied Fashion Design & Technology at the Tshwane University of Technology.

•What is your ministry  - your fashion/work?
I am a fashion designer. I design and make clothes for women.

•What challenges and rewards that have come from starting this ministry/work?
There are many challenges at entry level like having to prove yourself time & time again. The biggest reward is seeing an idea come to life, what was once on paper being worn by a beautiful lady who also can't believe her vision came to life... I can't get used to that.

•Who inspires you?
The people I meet and my Creator.

•What are your dreams?
Ms Kgadi's dream is to build an empire that outlives her. My children and their children and so forth (God willing) will have a place in Re. Avenue. Re. Avenue will give birth to a generation that believes anything is possible.

•You favorite things…(movies, places etc)
I love music, have a few surprises in store in terms of that. I love the outdoors and going to places foreign to me. I'm also a dancer, that's how I keep fit. I love the colour pink, I want to be one of those lady bosses who wears pink and still looks boss. Lol. And movies... Need I say more. And malls, my favourite hang outs with my Loved Ones.

•Tells us about your relationship with God.
I love Him... But he Loves me beyond what words can ever describe. He's shown me what Love is and what it’s like to Love. He's my Papa, the Love of my Life, my air, my Counselor, my Advisor. I simply Love and adore Him.

•Tell us about your career choice, what inspired it?
I'm a fashion designer and stylist. I think my profession chose me. I started sketching my own clothes at the age of 10. At that age, I already had in mind what I wanted for my matric dance dress and wedding dress and even sketched it. It got me through the toughest times in my life.

To all the ladies...
You are never too young or too poor for success. The wealthiest (wealth being far more than rich) people on Earth made something from nothing, literally.
Do you! If you've never been in someone's shoes, your opinion is best kept to yourself. And invest in yourself. Invest in your happiness, your health and most importantly your heart. True beauty starts from the inside. Lastly let go of the past, it is what it is and your future is what God says it is. Enjoy the joy ride called Life.

A big thank you to Kgadi Rangata, for allowing us the privilege to get to know her. For info on her designs, please contact her on her e-mail address. kgadi@reavenue.co.za
