Interview with Ellah Motloutsi an environmental health practitioner.
Ellah is a 23 year old single lady. I'm a woman of style, a little bit talkative and friendly. I'm a born again Christian and the only girl child in Motloutsi's family.
Where does Ellah come from?
I'm from Limpopo. I was born and raised in Metz village (Tzaneen). I grew up in a family of 6, my mom, father and three brothers.
Tell us about your fondest childhood memories.
My fondest childhood of me is stealing my mom's ponds every Saturday and going 2 soccer games lol!
I studied Environmental health @ UJ from 2009 - 2011. Currently I'm doing my community service at Sebokeng hospital at the Vaal as a health inspector (environmental health practitioner). I'm planning to further my studies part time next year.
Challenges- when people do what you have recommended only in your presence and as soon as you leave they start doing what you told them not to do. They forget that they are not cheating me but their own health and safety. The joys- I am doing what I love and I thank God for helping me to choose Environmental health at tertiary.
Who inspires you?
My mother is my role model. She's a woman of faith, a woman who understands the principle of giving. She sacrificed her happiness for all her kids. I'm fortunate to have her as my mother. She is my friend, joy and my advisor. I pray that God blesses her with divine health and many more years of life.
To be a young woman of God means a lot to me. It means that I'm not like other women in the world because I'm washed and cleansed by the Blood of Jesus. And I'm empowered by strength to do all things through Christ. And I love the fact that all the bad things that I've done in the past are all washed away by the blood of Jesus, oh what a mercy.
Accepting God in my life is de best thing I've ever done. His words taught me to appreciate every season in my life, be it Good or bad. I appreciate because I know that in every situation that I go through God allowed it for a purpose. I have learned that most of de hardships we go though are routes of growth and success.
I have a lot of dreams and one of them is to be a successful property owner one day.
What are your favorite things in life?
